But don’t make a mistake of thinking that a professional is better equipped than a layman in making decisions for the layman. A layman who is equipped with sufficient knowledge can think coherently and be in a position to discuss matters of personal interest that can make a life losing situation into one that can bring years of life.

We should all take responsibility for our own health, well being and matters of life that are important to all of us and should not relinquish or relegate those responsibilities to people in society who may be there just to earn their living and may not be really working in our favor. But how do we know without close examination? That’s why it is important for all of us to understand the importance of researching into various fields of knowledge but not just limit ourselves to a limited sphere of knowledge. If we limit ourselves and fail to understand the whole gamut of life, we jeopardize ourselves and risk being put in wrong hands if not equipped with proper knowledge.
